The Tolmen Centre is at the heart of village life in Constantine, Cornwall. Many residents and friends enjoy events here; a wide and loyal audience has developed for the varied arts programme, and the Centre is slowly but surely building up a reputation in the Comish arts community. Kneehigh tell us that we are one of their favourite venues: praise indeed.

The Tolmen Centre is now used on a regular basis by the Male Voice Choir and the Drama Group as well as for various courses including IT and Keep Fit. The Tolmen Cafe is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the Heritage Centre is now in regular operation.

    Peter Knight of Steeleye Span presents Gigspanner

    Peter Knight, the legendary fiddler from Steeleye Span is joined by Roger Flack on Guitar, and Vincent Salzfaas on Congas and Djembe, both intelligent and powerful musicians in their own right. Gigspanner’s Debut Album ‘Lipreading the Poet’ was named as one of the best 15 Global Albums of 2009. But leave any pre-conceived ideas at the door, and ditch the pigeonholes.
